To those of you who send me email forwards of various types (i.e. Eric's family), I'm done. I've asked you nicely not to send them. I've asked you not so nicely not to send them. Eric's asked you not to send them. I've put up with it for almost seven years through several different email addresses, on Facebook, and so on and so forth. I am done. Almost all of them are full of lies, and even if you think it's funny, I can guarantee you that I won't because I'll already be annoyed that you sent me a forward.

From now on, I'll be blocking people who send me spam on whatever format they've done it. Send me an email? You'll be put on my spam filter. Harass me on Facebook? You'll be taken off my friends list. I shouldn't have to be doing things like /uninstalling apps/ there just to keep you from spamming me.

You guys are family, you're supposed to be safe to put on my various lists. I shouldn't have to treat you like the various emails that are offering to enhance my male member, so if you don't want to be, stop acting as if you have a stinking virus that's using your computer as a stinking zombie and sending out junk hither and yon without a thought or care in the world.

But if you don't make a wish that will only come true if you send it to 40 other people, who will? D:

I am constantly spammed in email by my eldest niece and my mom, and I never even open the forwards, I just delete them. No matter how many times I ask them NOT to send me any...

I know I for one am guilty of sending rather frequent app invite on Facebook (and people always send them to me, I believe FB informed me today that I have 57 apps to install...ugh, screw that!)...I definitely don't want to spam as I have been spammed, and I won't send ya any any more of those *hugs*

The app invites aren't bad and you've not sent me many that I'm aware of. I mean there was an actual app I installed that I got a bunch of forwards from them on. I got the same one from three different family members in the course of about 24 hours. Seriously pissed me off, especially because it was, of course, crap. Like clicking on someone's FB profile could let them hack your computer. *eyerolls*

Ha ha, my mother does that, too. "Look at this funny thing someone sent me!" I've told her again and again, but she doesn't listen. I know she's only doing it because she thinks I'll like it, but I just delete forwarded crap unread.

I feel so terrible I just barely accidentally sent you a forward and I was feeling terrible about it and now I read this entry. Will you forgive me?

Since you did it before you saw the entry, it's okay. :)

*chuckles* My grandfather used to send me all those stupid spam thing, especially the "Warning! You need to know about this!" sort. That ended after he sent me a warning about the cell phone Do Not Call List for telemarketing, and I responded to him and to his ENTIRE mailing list with the link to the Snopes article about that one being a hoax, and told him, pretty much in front of the entire family, that I would appreciate it if he'd please research things before passing them along. He hasn't spammed me once since!
