Not being involved in any fan communities or whatnot and thus having no inkling of what was coming, I've been shocked by the extremely negative reaction to the book. Yes, it's nothing more than a Mary Sue wish fulfillment...but that's all the whole series is. Well, whatever. I enjoyed it.

Its not out here till monday, won't be buying it at that price anyways, so I can't say.... but I can imagine. Personally, I have never read such a bunch of fucking tripe.... I really can't see how people can fawn over this, aside from the fact they must self insert in some way.

And the fact that 'Cedric Diggory' is Edward really doesn't help the imagery.... If Edwards supposed to be a god like creature, I can't see why he was picked.

Oh, don't get me started on this book. I could rant all day.

Also, the fact its written in first person fucks me off. I hate that!

I like the books, but I won't deny that they're fluffy nonsense. But then, I also don't understand the Edward-related fawning. He doesn't seem that great to me. Perfect at everything except having the personality of a piece of cardboard. Yawn.
